Rothwell Town CC

Rothwell CC - A breif History.

Our aims at Rothwell Town Cricket Club is to promote the game of Cricket. To provide the necessary facilities for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game and to encourage participation of all players in a standard of Cricket suitable for themselves.

The Cricket club is located in the heart of Northamptonshire and boasts some of the very best facilities in the County and has a thriving club membership at both Senior and youth levels.

Currently the club runs three senior sides and three youth sides playing a range of competitive cricket. The 1st XI and 2nd XI both play in the Northants Cricket Championship, and the Sunday Eleven plays in the Rutland leaque..

Both Under 13 and Under 15 youth sides play in the Corby and District Wilson Browne Youth Cricket league and the Under 17/midweek team play in the Geddington Midweek League.

We also run a Cricket FUNdamentals Scheme for 7-11 year olds in and around Rothwell with the aim of introducing young people into Cricket through active participation in Fun and Games.
